Shepherd's
Crook

The shepherd's crook was an instrument of compassion and help.  With it, the shepherd could reach out and rescue a sheep that had gotten mired in the mud, pull a sheep away from a noxious plant that would cause him to become sick, or pull a lamb to him so he could tend to an injury.  Whatever the sheep's need, he could expect that crook to reach out and minister to his need.

In much the same way, the Niles Grace Brethren Church is seeking to reach out to minister to the needs of our flock and to any others who need our ministry.  It is our prayer that you will find here some scriptures and meditations that will encourage your heart and mind.
