1. How do I accept Christ as my Savior?

Romans 3:23, Isaiah 53:6 - Recognize that you are a sinner.

Romans 6:23 - Recognize that you, by yourself, deserve nothing
but physical and spiritual death.

John 3:16, John 6:37 - Recognize that God in His love and
mercy has paid the price for your sin and will forgive you.

John 1:12, Romans 10:9-10 - Confess your sins, accept Christ's
offer of salvation and receive Christ into your heart.

2. How can I be sure I'm saved?

John 3:36 - If you have placed your faith and trust in Christ,
He promises that you have everlasting life.

John 5:24 - There is no condemnation for those who have placed
their faith and trust in Christ.

Romans 8:16 - God has given you the Holy Spirit to be a witness
to you that you are saved.

Ephesians 2:8 - You are saved by God's work not yours.
You can trust Him.

3. What if a loved one has been taken in death?

II Corinthians 5:6-8 - They are with the Lord.
-
Revelation 14:13 - God is taking good care of them.

John 14:1-4 - If we trust in the Lord, we will be taken to
heaven as well. We will be reunited.

John 14:27 - Until then we have the promise of God's peace
with us.

4. What can I do when I feel weak?

Hebrews 4:15 - Christ understands our weakness.

II Peter 2:9 - He knows how to take care of us.

Isaiah 40:29 - He will give us the strength we need.

II Corinthians 12:9 - His grace is sufficient.

I Corinthians 10:13 - He will provide us with a way out.

James 1:12 - There is a reward.

5. What can I do when I feel discouraged?

Hebrews 4:15 - Christ understands.

John 14:18 - He will comfort you.

Psalm 27:14 - He will strengthen and encourage you.

John 16:30 - He will give you cheer.

Philippians 4:7 - He will give you peace

Psalm 50:15 - He will bring us through.

6. What if people make fun of me or abuse me because
I am a Christian?

Proverbs 29:25 - Fearing men can be a trap, trust in the
Lord.

Romans 8:18 - Our suffering will seem like nothing compared
to our reward.

Matthew 5:10-12 - God's blessing will rest on us if we are
faithful.

II Timothy 2:12 - There is an eternal reward for our suffering.

Acts 5:41 - It is a privilege to be counted worthy of suffering
for Christ.

7. What is so bad about being sexually active but
not married? Everyone else is doing it, how bad can it be?

James 1:15 - Lust is sin and causes the same penalty as all
sin, death.

James 4:4 - Sexual sins make us enemies of God.

Galatians 6:7 - You may seem to be getting away with it,
but you're not.

I Corinthians 6:9-10 - There is an eternal penalty for sexual
sins.

I John 5:4 - Sexual sin, and all sin, can be overcome through
faith in Christ.

8. So many people I know don't believe in God;
could I be wrong?

Psalm 14:1 - Only fools don't believe in God.

Romans 3:3-4 - God doesn't cease to exist because men don't
believe in Him.

I Corinthians 2:14 - Don't expect unbelievers to understand
God, they can't.

Proverbs 3:5 - We don't have to understand everything, just
trust God.

John 7:17 - Just obey God; He will show you He is true.

9. What can I do when I am tempted?

James 1:2-4 - It's like the old saying, "What don't kill
ya' makes ya' stronger.

II Corinthians 12:9-10 - God will give us everything we need
to make it through.

I Corinthians 10:13 - God will always make sure that there
won't be more trouble than we can handle.

Philippians 4:13 - With Christ, we can make it through anything.

10. Life seems so hard sometimes, what do I do
now?

I Peter 4:12-13 - This is normal for those who strive to
follow Christ.

Hebrews 12:11 - Keep the destination in mind, and the journey
doesn't seem as bad.

Psalm 34:17 - God has not forgotten you; call Him, He will
answer.

Psalm 27:14 - Trust in the Lord and wait for His timing.

Matthew 11:28-30 - Come to Christ; He will help you bear
the burden.

11. I am having such a hard time forgiving somebody.
What do I do?

Mark 11:25-26, Matthew 6:14-15 - How you forgive others is
how God will forgive you.

Ephesians 4:32 - Forgiving one another is a way of showing
we are thankful for how Christ forgave us.

I John 4:20-21 - We are being a hypocrite if we say we love
God but then don't love one another.

Matthew 5:23-24 - God will not accept our offerings if we
are harboring unforgiveness towards one another.

12. I have already been sinning, what can I do
now?

II Timothy 2:21 - Ask God to forgive you so that He can use
you again.

II Corinthians 7:11 - Put away the sin so that you can serve
God.

Psalm 51:2 - Trust in God and God alone to wash away your
sin.

I John 3:3 - Use the hope we have in Christ to keep from
going back to that sin.

13. Sometimes I feel so lonely, what can I do?

Psalm 119:63 - Never forget Christ's promise to be with us.

Isaiah 41:10 - Allow Christ's presence to strengthen and
uphold you.

Isaiah 43:2 - No matter what happens remember Christ is with
you through it all.

Hebrews 13:5, Psalm 23:1 - Christ will never leave us in
want of anything, including Himself.

14. Sometimes I'm so stirred up inside, how can
I have peace?

Isaiah 26:3 - Keep your mind focused on Christ.

John 16:33 - No matter what is troubling you, be assured
that Christ will overcome it.

Romans 14:19 - Do things that will help you become peaceful.

Psalm 4:8 - Know that, no matter what, the Lord is able to
keep you safe.

15. What can I do when I don't understand what
is going on:

Psalm 37:5 - Commit the situation to the Lord.

Isaiah 12:2 - Have confidence in what the Lord can do.

Psalm 18:2 - Draw your strength from God.
-
Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust that, even though you don't understand,
God does.

Psalm 5:11 - Be happy because you know God is in charge and
you can trust Him.
